![]() I used a stamp positioner to stamp my image in Versafine Onyx Black, a couple times and then quickly embossed the images with Detail Clear Embossing Powder. Instead of doing my usual, no-line watercolor, I decided to play around a bit more loosely with the watercolors. I only used 4 colors for all three cards. I pulled out the set of Daniel Smith Watercolors that I own and watercolored with those. The card kit gives you an exclusive Daniel Smith Watercolor Palette with some primary colors that you can mix and match. I was in a watercoloring mood and decided to play a bit with these gorgeous florals. This kit is chocked full of goodies!! I started to use ALL THE THINGS, but then I was just drawn to the beautiful 6×8 exclusive stamp set, Beautiful Flowers the most. When I opened the June Card kit was I was so excited as I pulled each of the supplies out. Plus you save $5 and it’s nice because you can pause a month here and there if needed! I have a feeling this beautiful kit is going to be quite popular so if you’re interested I’d recommend heading over and picking up the Thankful Flowers kit as soon as possible! □ I hope this gives you some ideas for the new October kit! Remember, you can also subscribe to their no-obligation kits and receive them monthly for $29.99, or purchase them each month for $34.99 (while supplies last). I’m not sure I’ve ever created cards with such a muted neutral palette but I kinda LOVE how they turned out and I hope you do, too! □ Again I finished the card with a few gold sequins. I adhered them over the flowers and added a heat-embossed sentiment banner below. Next I die-cut the Thanks from black cardstock three times and adhered them together. I layered them onto the patterned paper and adhered them with a mix of regular adhesive and foam mounting tape. Then I stamped the flowers onto kraft cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed them with gold glitter embossing powder before fussy cutting them. My final card continues to take advantage of the fun papers included in the kit! I adhered that honeycomb paper to a card base. Finally I added a few black enamel dots to finish the card! I trimmed it down to a fishtail banner and adhered it over the stem. Then I stamped the rest of the sentiment onto black cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. I adhered the stem with liquid adhesive but popped up the flower a bit with foam mounting tape for a little dimension. I fussy cut it and trimmed the stem down so it would fit on my card base a little better. I also stamped the stemmed flower from the kit onto kraft cardstock with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder before adding a little shading with grey copic markers. I stamped the large sentiment from the kit with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder. ![]() My next card uses more of the fun patterned paper in the kit! This time I trimmed down that woodgrain paper and adhered it to a card base. ![]() I finished the card with just a few gold sequins! ![]() I adhered it to the card and then added the gold foam letter stickers to complete my sentiment. Then I die-cut the Thanks word die three times from black cardstock and layered them together. So I just trimmed it down to 5.5″ by 4″ and adhered it to a kraft A2 panel.
